OMG! I can truly relate!!! When I was a teen I attended one of the first soul train shows on the west side of Chicago before it became really popular. Soul train was then held in a basement, and Don Cornelius was the MC. At that time, it was just a bunch of kids from all over the city going to dance and to be on a local TV channel. That was in the early 60's.
Alice, what a wonderful layout and what a wonderful memory you've rekindled for me!!!

I'll be seeing you!

I had to drop back in because I forgot to say "Thank you" and that has been on my mind to do. Vernetta mentioned that you referred her to my blog and I really appreciate that. I'll try to see if I can send some traffic your way too!

Thanks, again!

I love your work Alice. It is good to see a sista chronicling her family history. I do mostly card making but now you are inspiring me to do more scrapping. I started with just scrapbooking.
