Here is a layout of my cousin at one our family gatherings going down the soul train line! Soul Train was a staple in our family.... the only show on t.v. whare i saw our people singing our songs and doing our dances! soul train will truely be missed!

OMG! I can truly relate!!! When I was a teen I attended one of the first soul train shows on the west side of Chicago before it became really popular. Soul train was then held in a basement, and Don Cornelius was the MC. At that time, it was just a bunch of kids from all over the city going to dance and to be on a local TV channel. That was in the early 60's.

I love your work Alice. It is good to see a sista chronicling her family history. I do mostly card making but now you are inspiring me to do more scrapping. I started with just scrapbooking.
